Cushcity.com is the brainchild of Willie and Gwen Richardson, who live in Houston, Texas. This is a Black-owned, privately-held company, incorporated in the state of Texas. The site was launched in December 1998. The Richardsons have been featured in Ebony, Black Enterprise, Black Issues Book Review and Essence magazines, as well as The New York Times, CNN and Fox television networks. The Richardsons have more than 30 years of experience in marketing, technology and merchandising. The Black Writers Workspace (BWW) is a community of African-American authors, bloggers, poets, journalists, business writers, editors and consultants dedicated to sharing their experiences in creating, publishing and promoting their work. BWW is also a platform for aspiring writers interested in learning about writing techniques, self publishing, and marketing.
THIS IS a safe space to promote your work, ask for advice, give advice, recommend services, and get the inspiration you need from peers, fellow writers and editors.
